Nepal records 33 Covid-19 fatalities and 2,676 cases in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: The country has witnessed a total of 2,676 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population stated on Thursday.

Likewise, altogether 1,757 Covid-19 patients got full recovery during the period. A total of 628,468 people have recovered from the pandemic so far.

According to the Ministry of Health, 33 people succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,463.

A total of 1,782 were diagnosed with the virus in PCR tests while 894 were confirmed positive in tests undertaken through the antigen method. Samples of 8,256 people were tested through the PCR method while 4,512 samples were tested adopting the antigen method.
