Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index went down by 9.01 points on Tuesday and closed at 2985.57 points.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies decreased by 2.82 points and reached 558.11 as trading closed today. The stock market had gone up by 13.30 points yesterday.
The hydropower, trading, hotel, manufacturing, and mutual sub-indices went up today while all others fell. The stock market saw a total turnover of Rs 7.8 billion.
