CNI elects seven Vice Presidents

Kathmandu: The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has elected seven Vice Presidents. As per the provision of CNI statute, seven Vice Presidents incorporating the promoter, institutional and corporate category, were elected on Tuesday.

Nirvana Chaudhary, Krishna Prasad Adhikari, Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, Birendra Raj Pandey, Raj Bahadur Shah, Hem Raj Dhakal and Rohit Gupta have been elected to the CNI Vice-Presidential post. The 18th Annual General Meeting held on July 21 had elected Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, then Senior Vice President of the CNI as the President for the next two years.

On the occasion, President Emeritus of the CNI Binod Chaudhary urged the newly elected committee to work as the leading organization of the private sector. He also urged the committee to work for policy interventions with ample preparations.

CNI President Agarwal expressed his commitment to focus on industrialization and private sector issues. Governing Council members and National Council Members of the CNI were present at the program.
