Nepal bags two bronze medals in International Economics Olympiad

Kathmandu: Nepal has bagged two bronze medals in the International Economics Olympiad held in Latvia.

Aryan Shrestha and Nirajan Rana were successful to bring home two bronze medals from the competition held from July 26-August 1 that was participated by 215 contestants from 44 countries.

Under the leadership of Arjun Sapkota and Jeevan Maharjan there were five contestants representing Nepal chosen from National Economics Olympiad 2021. Pratik Kayastha, Pratyush Ghimire, and Shamir Chettri also presented themselves a tough contender.

Nepal has not returned empty-handed since the beginning of its participation and had won one bronze medal in 2019 and two bronze medals in 2020.
