Kathmandu: The Supreme Court has denied issuing an interim order on the writ petition registered at the court by Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal lawmakers.

The JSPN lawmakers of the Lumbini Province had filed the writ petition at the apex court seeking their restoration as the lawmakers.

A single bench of justice Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada, hearing the case on Monday, has asked for a written response and summoned both sides on August 24 to decide whether to issue interim order or not.

The JSPN province lawmakers Santosh Kumar Pandey, Kalpana Pandey Lamshal and Bijay Bahadur Yadav on July 30 had filed the writ petition at the Court. The JSPN had taken action against them as they had joined the incumbent government against the party decision.
