Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has dismissed Bagmati Province Chief Bishnu Prasad Prasain and appointed Yadav Chandra Sharma as the new Province Chief.
The President made the appointment as per the decision of the Council of Ministers on Thursday.
The President appointed Yadav Chandra Sharma of Sankhuwasabha as Bagmati Province Chief in accordance with Article 163 (2) of the Constitution, reads the statement issued by the Office of President.
