Kathmandu: The Election Commission is conducting a headcount for the registration of CPN (Unified Socialist) and Democratic Socialist Party on Wednesday.
CPN (Unified Socialist) leaders including Madhav Kumar Nepal and Ram Kumari Jhakri have reached EC for the verification process.
The EC has determined two and half hours to both parties for the verification.
The leaders should reach the EC between 11:30 am to 2 pm for the verification. EC Spokesperson Raj Kumar Shrestha said that the verification should be done within the deadline set by the EC.
Proposed CPN (Unified Socialist) under the leadership of Madhav Kumar Nepal and Mahantha Thakur-led Democratic Socialist Party have filed applications at EC for the registration of new parties.
