Kathmandu: Almost one and a half months after the government was formed on July 13, the ruling coalition has finally prepared to expand the cabinet on Monday.

A meeting of the top leaders of the ruling coalition scheduled for Monday is further discussing the cabinet expansion. The cabinet will be expanded tomorrow following a meeting with Janata Samajbadi Nepal leader Upendra Yadav, said sources.  

On Sunday, a meeting of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and CPN (Unified Socialist) Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal decided to initiate the discussion on cabinet expansion from Monday.

According to the sources, the Nepali Congress will take up seven ministries, while the remaining three parties of the coalition will get six ministries each.
