Kathmandu: The country has reported 1,756 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. In the same period, altogether 2,274 infected returned recovered from the pandemic.
In the past 24 hours, a total of 13,334 tests were conducted across the country. The number of reported active cases stands at 33,006. Likewise, 23 people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours. As of September 3, the number of Covid-19 deaths reached 10,809 in the country.
Similarly, 540 people are getting treatment in ICU facilities and 274 others are on ventilator support. Of the other active cases, a total of 30,662 individuals are in home isolation and 2,344 infected ones are in institutional isolation facilities.
According to the Ministry, 19 districts have more than 500 active cases.
