KP Oli warns of obstructing House if CPN (Unified Socialist) lawmakers attend

Kathmandu: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has warned of obstructing the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

Addressing a Parliamentary Party meeting, Oli said that they will no allow the House to run if the lawmakers of the CPN (Unified Socialist) are present at today’s meeting.

“We will not allow the House proceedings to move ahead if non-MPs are present,” said Oli, terming the 14 lawmakers dismissed by the party as non-MP.

The tenth session of both the houses of the Federal Parliament will begin on Wednesday. President Bidya Devi Bhandari has summoned the meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly at 4 pm today on the recommendation of the government.

The agenda of the session of the House will include the bill to replace the ordinance budget, the long-pending civil service bill, the citizenship bill and various ordinances issued in the past. The ninth session of the House ended on August 16.
