Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index plunged further by 60.02 points on Wednesday. The stock market closed at 2,876.59 points, a decline of 2.04 percent compared to yesterday.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index also fell by 11.91points to close at 536.51 points.
All the sub-indices went down today with the life insurance registering a decline by a maximum of 421.36 points.
The stock market witnessed a total turnover of Rs 6.6 billion with 16,148,652 units share of 225 scrips traded.
The Nepse index had gone down by 44.18 points on Tuesday.
