UML Standing Committee meeting put off

Kathmandu: CPN-UML’s Standing Committee meeting has been postponed. A meeting held this morning at Lalitpur-based Tulasilal Memorial Academy was adjourned for some hours.

According to UML’s Publicity Department Chief Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai, though the meeting discussed the delegates taking part in the party’s statute convention it did not draw any conclusion. Hence, the meeting was postponed for some hours, he further shared.

The next meeting would finalize the delegates for the convention, he said. “The meeting dwelt on the agendas of delegates’ selection, political statute report, organizational report and management”, he said.
