Kathmandu: A total of 800 oxygen concentrators were delivered to the Ministry of Health and Population by UNICEF today.
A total of 600 were provided with a funding contribution from the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) and 200 through support from the US Fund for UNICEF and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
These will be soon dispatched to health facilities around Nepal to help strengthen preparedness, particularly in light of possible surges of Covid-19 in the days to come, according to UNICEF.
