Kathmandu: At least three passengers died and one got injured when a jeep heading to Okhaldhunga from Kathmandu met with an accident on Thursday morning.
According to Police Inspector Shree Shankar Shrestha, the jeep, Pradesh 3-01-023-Cha-3513, skidded off the road and fell some 600 meters down at Manthali Municipality-6, Hattisar.
The deceased are Lakpa Shrestha, 35, and his wife Puruwa Sherpa. One of the deceased is yet to be identified.
12-year-old Pemba Sherpa who got injured in the accident is being rushed to Kathmandu for further treatment, said Inspector Shrestha.
