1,095 fresh Covid-19 cases, eight deaths recorded in the 24 hours

Kathmandu: The country recorded a total of 1,095 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The news cases were recorded in 13,817 tests including 10,786 RT-PCR tests and 3,031 antigen tests.

Likewise, 2,957 persons got recovery from the virus in the same period, taking the total recoveries to 752,170. The recovery rate stands at 95.8 percent in the country.

As per the latest update, 20,891 infected are in home isolation and 1,432 in institutional isolation. Moreover, 371 are receiving treatment at ICU and 108 in ventilator support.

The total number of fatalities caused by the Covid-19 has reached 11,048 with eight fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Ministry shared.
