Two Indian nationals arrested in Nepal with Rs 9.5 million

Kathmandu: Police have arrested two Indian nationals with Rs 9.5 million which source they failed to disclose.

They were arrested along with the amount from Nagdhunga at around 2 pm on Friday during a routine security check of vehicles entering Kathmandu. Police arrested them from a vehicle, Ga 1 Kha 6646, that was entering Kathmandu from Chitwan.

According to the police, Rs 4.5 million was found from Sagar Mali, 26, of Sangli district, Maharashtra, and Rs 5 million from Krishna Adhade, 19, of the same place.

The incident is being further investigated by Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.
