Dead body of a boy missing from Kapan found in Lalitpur

Kathmandu: The body of 10-year-old boy Ujjwal BK, who went missing after falling into a drain at Kapan, has been found near the Lalitpur-Makwanpur border region at Ghusel, Bagmati Rural Municipality – 1. 

According to police, the body found on the bank of the Bagmati River will be handed over to the family after a postmortem.

“The body of BK found in the border region of Latipur and Makwanpur district has been sent to the Patan Hospital for autopsy,” confirmed Senior Superintendent of Police Kiran Bajracharya.

On Tuesday evening, BK fell into the drain at Kapan when he was out walking with his grandfather.

Following the incident, a 13-member police team from the Metropolitan Police Division Kapan and Samakhusi-based disaster management team had been searching for the body.
