Kathmandu: Reinforcing the association with Prayas Nepal, Himalaya Airlines continued its CSR support for ‘Step towards Education’ with year-long educational supplies for the fifth year in a row.
During a brief interaction program held on Wednesday, Himalaya Airlines officials handed over the stationaries including notebooks, registers, pens etc. and the academic course books for various grades to the children of Prayas Nepal.
The airlines also provided different educative Covid-19 safety posters for display in the organization to increase awareness of the safety protocols, it said in a statement.
Prayas Nepal is home to 26 aspiring children including three special need children as well. Over the past few years, these children have excelled in their academic as well as extracurricular activities like dance, sports etc.
During the brief visit, the officials of Himalaya Airlines interacted with the children and gave them a brief in regards to protection against Covid-19 to stay safe.
