Pancha Singh becomes the president of ANNISU(R)

Kathmandu: Pancha Singh has been appointed as the president of All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) ANNISU(R). She is the first female president in the history of ANNISU(R), a student wing of the CPN (Maoist Center). 

Following the meeting with student leaders in Khumaltar on Sunday morning, party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ decided to appoint Singh as the president, a leader who participated in the Khumaltar meeting informed Nepal Live Today.  

According to the leader, the appointment will be formally announced after the ongoing closed session at the 22nd National Convention of ANNISU(R).

Earlier, Singh was the vice-president of the union.
