Kathmandu: Ncell Axiata Limited has launched an attractive free SIM scheme bundled with attractive offers focusing on senior citizens.
In this scheme launched on Friday on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons 2021, Nepali citizens of age above 60 can subscribe to Ncell SIM for free and take benefit of a bonus for up to six months in every recharge of Rs 50 and more, Ncell said in a statement.
In the first recharge of Rs 50 or more, senior citizens get 100MB data and 100 on-net SMS as a bonus. Similarly, they get the voice, data, and India call service at a subsidized rate for six months after the first recharge.
There is also a recharge offer valid for six months. In this offer, customers who recharge Rs 50-99 get 200 MB valid for seven days. Those customers who top up Rs 100-199 are entitled to get 500 MB which can be used within seven days.
Similarly, if customers recharge their balance with Rs 200 or more they get 1GB of data valid for seven days.
Senior citizens can visit any nearby Ncell Centre along with a passport-sized photo and citizenship certificate to subscribe to this SIM. This scheme will remain in place until October 8.
