Chitwan Tigers enters Everest Premier League final thrashing Pokhara by nine wickets

Kathmandu: Chitwan Tigers entered the final of the Everest Premier League (EPL) on Wednesday defeating Pokhara Rhinos by nine wickets.

Chitwan Tigers achieved the 67 runs target set by Pokhara Rhinos in 7.5 overs losing one wicket. Mohammad Shahzad top-scored at 48 runs off 26 balls hitting seven fours and two sixes. Hasim Ansari made not out 14 runs. Nandan Yadav of Pokhara Rhinos took one wicket.

Earlier put to bat first after losing the toss, Pokhara Rhinos made 66 runs on the board losing all wickets in 15 overs. Richard Levi and Sunil Dhamala made 19 and 18 runs respectively.

Shahab Alam of Chitwan Tigers grabbed four wickets in his kitty as Sagar Dhakal also took an equal four wickets.
