Kathmandu: The country has recorded 455 Covid-19 cases and eight deaths from the coronavirus across the country in the past 24 hours.
The cases were recorded from a total of 6,214 tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The number of active infection cases has stood at 13,853. A total of 779,154 infected people have been free of the deadly virus with 804 in the past 24 hours. The recovery rate is 96.9 percent.
So far, 11,269 people have died from the pandemic in the country. A total of 310 people have been admitted to intensive care units and 105 are on ventilator support.
Similarly, 12,791 have been getting recovery in home isolation, 1,062 in institutional isolation and 230 in quarantine facilities.
