Mahendranagar: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has announced the government will come up with a relief package for landslides and floods survivors.

Addressing a program after the inspection of the area eroded by the Mahakali River at Bhimdutta Municipality-12 in Kanchanpur district today, the Prime Minister said, “Data of losses caused by the off-seasonal incidences of flood will be gathered and the government will come up with a relief package for the survivors of landslides and floods.
“The floods and landslides have caused huge losses in the districts of Far Western region,” he said, promising to provide relief to the survivors despite limited resources.

The Prime Minister arrived here on Thursday to take stock of losses caused due to the disaster in Far Western Nepal. He had visited Doti, Bajhang, Baitadi and Dadeldhura districts yesterday. He is scheduled to inspect the flood-hit areas in Kailali today. RSS
