Ninth Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival to kick off on Monday

The Human Rights Film Center (HRFC) is organizing the ninth edition of the Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival from November 22 to 25.

The ninth edition of the film festival will be organized virtually, said the organizers.

A total of 42 films from 24 different countries have been shortlisted for screening at the fest.

Alongside screenings, there will also be panel discussions on topics like “Role of cinema to prevent violence against women, empowerment, Right and inclusion”, “Impact of Covid on human rights”, “Environmental justice and human rights” and a master class on “How to reach Nepali Cinema in OTT Platform?”

This year, all the films will be screened virtually at https://9nhriff.muvi.com, while the discussion series will be carried out through Zoom.
