Nepal’s Covid-19 update: 332 new cases and four deaths recorded; 232 recover

Kathmandu: The country has witnessed a total of 332 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population stated on Wednesday.

A total of 305 were diagnosed with the virus in PCR tests while 27 were confirmed positive in tests undertaken through the antigen method. Samples of 7,590 people were tested through the PCR method while 2,330 samples were tested adopting the antigen method.

Likewise, altogether 232 Covid-19 patients got full recovery during the period. The Ministry said that the recovery rate in Nepal is 97.7 percent.

According to the Ministry of Health, four people succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 11,513.

Nepal currently has 7,369 active cases.
