Covid-19: 308 new cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 308 more people across the country in the last 24 hours. This was revealed in 8,909 samples tested for the virus in various laboratories across the country.

With this, the number of active cases of Covid-19 stands at 7,349. The infection rate in Nepal is 17.9 percent while the fatality rate per million is 379.1. At present, 6,961 people are being treated in home isolation, 388 in institutional isolation with 197 in ICU and 41 in ventilator support.

The districts with more than 500 active cases are Kathmandu and Lalitpur. Also today, 298 people recovered from the virus.

Meanwhile, four people succumbed to Covid-19 today, taking the death toll so far to 11,516. Similarly, 177,884 people were vaccinated against coronavirus today.
