Jhapa: A wild elephant trampled a 60-year-old man to death at Shanibare of Mechinagar Municipality-14 in Jhapa district this morning.
Police said that the deceased is Ram Bahadur Burja (Magar) of Bhadrapur Municipality-9. It is said that Magar died on the spot in the elephant attack while picking tea leaves in the tea garden of local Tanka Poudel at 6:30 this morning.
