Parbat: A man was killed when a Parbat-bound passenger bus, Ga 1 Ja 0098, and a tractor, Ko 2 Ta 6427, collided at Kushma Municipality-8 in Parbat district on Saturday morning.
Five of 14 others injured in the accident are reported to be in serious condition, said police.
The deceased has been identified as Bishal Lamichhane of Chaubandi Rural Municipality in Udayapur district. The deceased was traveling in the tractor when the accident occurred.
The injured have been sent to Parbat and Pokhara for treatment, said Inspector Rajendra Adhikari. The police have held the bus and its driver. Further investigations are underway, he said.
