Kathmandu: The government has declared a public holiday in Kathmandu Valley on Sunday.
The Ministry of Home Affairs said in a statement that a holiday has been declared on the occasion of Udhauli festival, Yomari Punhi-Jyapu Diwas (Dhanya Purnima) to concerned communities and a public holiday in the Valley.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday decided to that end.
