Kathmandu: Nepal reported 189 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Likewise, Nepal reported two deaths during the period.
The new cases have been identified through 7,997 samples tested in laboratories across the country.
According to the Health Ministry, 158 samples tested positive through the RT-PCR method, while 31 samples tested positive through the antigen method.
With the addition of new cases, Nepal has 5,428 active Covid-19 cases.
As of Saturday, the Covid-19 death toll stands at 11,572.
