Kathmandu: Nepal recorded 167 fresh coronavirus cases and one death in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
A total of 157 cases were confirmed positive through PCR tests while 10 were confirmed through the antigen method. Samples of 4,283 people were tested through the PCR method while 2,164 samples were tested using the antigen method.
A total of 226 people recovered during the last 24 hours.
Nepal’s Covid-19 death toll stands at 11,583 as of Saturday afternoon.
