CPN (Maoist Center)’s General Convention: Seven-member presidium formed

Kathmandu: The CPN (Maoist Center) has formed a seven-member presidium for the conducting proceedings of the closed-door session under the 8th General Convention of the party underway in the Capital.

Leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha announced the formation of a presidium comprising leaders Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Giriraj Mani Pokharel, Ganesh Sha, Parshuram Tamang, Parshuram Ramtel, Purna Kumari Subedi, and Rupa Shrestha Maharjan and requested for the approval. The names were endorsed by the representatives.

Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s political report and party statute along with other documents would be presented in the closed-door session, shared party’s Standing Committee member and Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

Group-wise discussion would be held on the political report. A total of 1,631 delegates and observers are participating in the closed session.
