Ward office of Nagarjun Municipality Ward Number-2 inaugurated

Kathmandu: Ward office building of Nagarjun Municipality Ward Number-2 has been inaugurated on Sunday. The building constructed at Nagarjun-2, Teenghare at an investment of around Rs 20 million was jointly inaugurated by Mayor Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari and Nagarjun Municipality Spokesperson and Ward Chairman Thum Raj KC.

The building is the first administrative building constructed by Nagarjun Municipality. The building is well-equipped and wheelchair friendly and is built on a traditional Nepali style.

The program was presided over by Nagarjun Municipality Spokesperson and Ward Chairman Thum Raj KC and attended by Mayor Mohan Basnet, Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari, Chief Administrative Officer Surendra Thapa Magar, Chairman of Consumer Committee Raju Sapkota, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 5 Mahesh Rimal, Ward Member and Executive Member Bimala Maharjan, Ward Members Chandrika BK, Sano Bir Bahadur Nagarkoti, Lankesh Lama, representatives of various political parties, social workers and local ward residents. The program was conducted by Ward Secretary Rishi Prasad Bhattarai.

The building was handed over to the Mayor by the Consumer Committee while Mayor Mohan Basnet handed over the building to Ward Chairman Thum Raj KC.
