Nepal’s daily Covid-19 tally goes up, 435 cases recorded in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: Covid-19 cases have gone up in the past few days, official records show.

Nepal recorded 435 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. A total of 216 fresh cases were recorded on Sunday, 326 on Monday and 393 on Tuesday.

A total of 370 cases were confirmed positive through PCR tests while 65 were confirmed through the antigen method in the last 24 hours.

Samples of 6,715 people were tested through the PCR method while 3,552 samples were tested using the antigen method.

A total of 239 people recovered during the last 24 hours.

With no new deaths in the last 24 hours, Nepal’s Covid-19 death toll stands at 11,601 as of Wednesday afternoon.
