PM Deuba, UML Chair Oli discuss House obstruction

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairperson of the main opposition party, CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli held a meeting at the latter’s residence in Balkot, Bhaktapur, on Saturday morning.

PM Deuba reached the residence of chair Oli at around 10:30 am.

It is said that the one-on-one talk between the duo focused on issues including obstruction of the Parliament. The main opposition party has been obstructing the meeting of the Parliament since the beginning of the winter session.

Prime Minister Deuba reached the Oli residence in Balkot after the UML remained absent in an all-party meeting called earlier by PM Deuba to discuss Parliament obstruction.

Earlier, NC leader Ram Chandra Poudel, also coordinator of the high-level mechanism formed to help run the incumbent government reached leader Oli residence in Balkot and held a discussion with him.
