Kathmandu: Nepal reported 1,167 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). Covid-19 cases have gone up sharply in the past few days.
The new cases have been identified through 12,632 samples tested in laboratories across the country. Among the infected, 615 are from Kathmandu valley.
With the addition of new cases, Nepal has 6,755 active Covid-19 cases. A total of 224 people recovered from the pandemic during the period.
Two patients died from the disease in a day.
