Kathmandu: Nepali badminton player Prince Dahal has created history by securing top position in the World Badminton Junior rankings.
Earlier, 19-year-old Dahal was in the third position. In the latest rankings released by the World Badminton Federation, he has secured the first position with 10,400 points. This is the biggest achievement by a Nepali player in world badminton rankings.
Dahal expressed his happiness through a Facebook post.
“The rankings released by BFW have encouraged me to meet my goals. This success has motivated me to move forward with even greater hard work,” he wrote on Facebook. “I want to thank everyone who made this happen.”
