Kathmandu: Nepal has reported a total of 6,462 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal tested 17,437 samples through both PCR and antigen methods.
In the last 24 hours, Nepal tested 13,377 samples through the PCR method, and 4,060 samples through the antigen method. In the PCR tests, 5,598 samples tested positive, while 864 samples tested positive in the antigen method.
Likewise, four Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, taking the national Covid-19 toll to 11,655.
According to the Health Ministry, Nepal had 77,040 active Covid-19 cases.
