Teku hospital stops vaccination for seven days as 50 medics test Covid-19 positive

Kathmandu: As more than 50 medics tested positive for Covid-19, the Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital based in Teku of the capital has decided to halt the ongoing vaccination drive for the next seven days.

Issuing a press statement, the hospital said that the vaccination program will be closed from Monday (January 24) to Sunday (January 30).

The hospital regrets the inconvenience caused by the decision, it said in the statement.

Sukraraj Hospital is among the most crowded public hospitals from which the general public have been receiving PCR test and Covid treatment services at an affordable price.
