Kathmandu: Nepal has recorded a total of 8,454 Covid-19 cases and five deaths related to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.
At least 20,359 samples were tested for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. Of them, 5,571 samples tested positive through the PCR method, while 2,883 samples through the antigen method.
According to the Health Ministry, 251 Covid-19 patients are in ICUs, and 48 patients are on ventilators.
As of Wednesday, 11,672 Covid-19 patients have died across the country.
