Kathmandu: Nepal reported 1,957 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health and Population on Tuesday.
The new cases were detected from 12,692 tests. The daily positivity rate stands at 15.41 percent. With this, the active caseload in the country stands at 36,181.
Likewise, 5,103 patients recovered from the disease during this period taking the total number of recoveries to 920,592. The recovery rate currently is 95 percent.
A total of 11 patients lost their lives taking the death toll in the country to 11,838.
