Kathmandu: Nepal set a 184 runs target against Papua New Guinea in Tri-Nation T20I Series on Monday.

Put to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal got 183 runs on the board losing nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Aasif Sheikh hit the highest 43 runs for Nepal off 35 balls as Rohit Paudel made 34 runs.

Alei Nao, Chad Soper and Charles Amini of PNG took two wickets each.

The match is being played at TU Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

Earlier, Nepal had lost an ODI series against PNG by 2-0.
