Two children die as tipper hits motorcycle in Sundarijal

Kathmandu: Two people died after a motorcycle they were traveling in was hit by a tipper in Sundarijal on the outskirt of Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.

Two sisters, who were on their way to school, were killed when a tipper, Ba 4 Kha 6965, hit a motorcycle, Ba 8 Pa 8733.

Shristi Tamang, 8, and Shreya Tamang, 4, who were traveling in the motorcycle with their father Rohan Tamang, died on the spot in the mishap.

Rohan, who was seriously injured in the accident, has been rushed to the Attarkhel-based Nepal Medical College for treatment.

The tipper driver absconded after the accident. Locals are protesting demanding action against the driver and compensation to the victim.
