Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba who is on a three-day official visit to India met his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Saturday afternoon.
During the talks held at the Hyderabad House, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.” Wide-ranging talks on our multifaceted partnership are on the agenda,” tweeted Indian External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.
After the formal bilateral talks, Prime Minister Deuba and his counterpart Modi are scheduled to launch the Janakpur-Jayanagar railway service. Similarly, more than 130 health posts constructed with Indian assistance in the post-earthquake reconstruction in Nepal will be jointly inaugurated virtually by the two Prime Ministers.
Indian Prime Minister Modi is also scheduled to host a luncheon in honor of the Nepali delegation led by Prime Minister Deuba.
Prime Minister Deuba will call on Indian Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu in the afternoon today. Likewise, Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to hold an interaction with the Indian business community this evening.
The Prime Minister left for the southern neighbor on Friday afternoon.
