Saptari: Three persons died on the spot when two motorcycles collided head-on at Malekpur of Rajgadh Rural Municipality-5 of Saptari on Saturday.
The deceased are Pappu Yadav, 30, Sandeep Yadav, 26, and Ranjit Yadav, 25, of Hanumannagar-3 of Kankalini Municipality, according to Superintendent of Police Avinarayan Kafle.
The accident took place when the motorcycle, Province 1-0241 Pa 2296, and the motorcycle, Province 1-02041 Pa 9524, heading towards Pathargada from Bhardaha of Saptari collided while overtaking.
