Biplav-led Nepal Communist Party expels two Secretariat members

Kathmandu: The Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav-led Nepal Communist Party has expelled its Secretariat members Dharmendra Bastola ‘Kanchan’ and Hemant Prakash Oli ‘Sudarshan’.

A statement issued by the party’s General Secretary Biplav on Wednesday states that they were expelled on the charge of acting against the party’s discipline.

The General Secretary has accused them of violating the policy endorsed by the 12th plenary meeting of the party.

It is accused in the statement that they had given interviews in the media against the decision and leadership of the party, formed factions among the cadres, and destroyed all the values of the party.
