Kathmandu: After a wait of over a decade, the trailer of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, a sequel to the blockbuster movie Avatar, has been finally released online. The James Cameron directorial is set to hit the screen on December 16.

The long-awaited sequel to one of the highest-grossing movies in the world released its trailer on Monday. The footage showcases the visually appealing world of Pandora in its full glory with a glimpse of stunning landscapes.

The ‘Avatar’ movie released in 2009 used special effects and CGI remarkably, ushering in a new era of cinematography. Though the story wasn’t all that innovative, the visuals of the movie were captivating.

Despite talks about a sequel for a long time, the arrival was confirmed this year.

Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez, and most of the earlier cast will be reprising their roles. Some new faces including Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, and Vin Diesel, among others will join them in the sequel.
