UML lifts House obstruction after nine months

Kathmandu: The CPN-UML has lifted obstruction of the House of Representatives after nine months.

Speaking at the first meeting of the budget session of the lower House on Tuesday, UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali said that the party decided to lift the obstruction in the changed context.

The main opposition had been obstructing the meeting demanding the lawmakers it took action against should be dismissed. The party had obstructed two earlier sessions of the Parliament.
