Balen Shah leads Keshav Sthapit by over 13,000 votes

Kathmandu: Independent candidate Balen Shah continues to lead in the vote counting for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

He has maintained a lead of 13,185 with his closest rival Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML.

As per the latest results, Shah has received 27,967 votes. Sthapit is second with 14,782 votes as Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress is third gathering 14,439 votes.
