Missing Tara Air aircraft found crashed in Mustang

Kathmandu: An aircraft of Tara Air that went missing on Sunday morning has been found crashed at Thasang-2 in Mustang district.

Nepal Army Spokesperson Narayan Silwal said that the search and rescue troops physically located the plane crash site on Monday morning.

On Sunday morning, Tara Air’s 9N-AET twin-engine aircraft carrying 22 passengers, including 13 Nepalis, four Indians, and two German nationals, flying from Pokhara to Jomsom at 9:55 am, went missing, after reaching the Ghodepani area of Mustang, according to the Tara Air.

Nepal’s officials had called off the search and rescue operation for the missing Tara Air’s 9 NAET twin-engine aircraft due to bad weather on Monday evening.
